Due to our proximity to Lake Champlain’s shoreline and its tempering effect on the local weather, our fruit-growing season is unusually long and generous. Warmer springs and longer autumns mean riper fruit. Cooler summertime nights provide deeper color and amplified complexity. This natural advantage transpires in the wines we make.
Our winemaker’s twenty plus years of experience have taught him that goodness takes time. Hence, in the cellar, our philosophy is to let natures gifts express themselves through traditional winemaking techniques and extended barrel ageing when required. We believe that the expression of our wines is a blend of the fruit of our labor and the beauty of the land we are in.
We truly hope you will enjoy our creations!
